Reinstate the work area following Tramway engineering and maintenance activities
Overview
This standard is about reinstating the work area following Tramway engineering and maintenance activities. You will be able to confirm that the work area is left in a safe condition and meets your organisations procedures. This will include confirming that any waste materials are disposed of and any materials and equipment that cannot be removed is safely secured for later collection.
Safety is a key theme throughout this standard. You will be able to confirm that any safe working measures are withdrawn, and the work area is reinstated at the appropriate time and in the correct sequence to ensure the safety of yourself, those in your team and the wider Tramway environment.
You will know and understand the importance of communicating the intention to reinstate the work area to the relevant **stakeholders. You will also understand how to safely secure and store equipment and the procedures for dealing with reusable and waste items.
