Overview

This standard is about supervising a tram driving simulator training session.  You will know and understand the benefits and limitations of using simulator training and the instances in which simulator training is required especially in the training of route knowledge, emergencies and malfunctions.  You will be able to create an environment which supports learning and be able to confirm the simulators are available and are set up in line with the learning objectives.   You will be able to monitor the training, intervene when required and know and understand the limitations surrounding a specific simulator type and set up.

This standard is for those who work in a Tram Driver training role at supervisor level in the Tram and Tramway environment.
