Support manufacturing processes for footwear and leathergoods
Overview
This standard is about supporting manufacturing processes for footwear and leathergoods. This focuses on carrying out ancillary operations related to quality and effectiveness rather than operations that physically alter products. This could involve the identification, selection and checking of materials and components, assembly, testing, sorting, track feeding and examining work-in-progress.
This standard includes selecting batches of materials and components, checking availability and quality of materials and components, reporting issues that cause disruption to workflow, testing, sorting and track feeding and sorting work for following production stages.
This standard is for anyone who supports manufacturing processes for footwear and leathergoods.
