  8. carry out all operations in the correct sequence for the style being worked on
  9. work in ways that minimise waste at all times
  10. report any faults with machinery and equipment without delay
  11. complete work to appropriate quality standards
  12. sort work in appropriate order for following production stages
  13. place completed work in locations that minimise risk of damage
  14. close down machinery in line with safety requirements when work is complete
  15. comply with written instructions related to upper making and closing
  16. complete required forms, records and other documentation
  17. work to legal requirements, standards and regulations, policies, procedures and professional codes at all times
