Overview
This standard is about taking responsibility for implementing own sustainable and waste minimisation business practice. This includes the efficient use of resources, energy and water and meeting quantity and quantity requirements to minimise faults and reduce production of excess items
This job role may involve:
1. meeting waste minimisation targets
2. establishing and controlling working practices that minimise waste
3. maintaining waste minimisation throughout the manufacturing process
4. monitoring work practices to identify potential waste
5. ensuring unavoidable waste is dealt with effectively in accordance with company and
legal requirements.
