This standard is concerned with implementing cloud migration solutions and provisioning cloud applications and data.

This includes the responsibility for delivering cloud migration projects and implementing and testing changes to cloud infrastructure.

Performance criteria

You must be able to:

  1. Allocate migration activities to the relevant team
  2. Create cloud migration documentation in line with organisational standards
  3. Design a migration plan to deploy cloud services and migrate applications and data
  4. Build and maintain cloud asset auditing and reporting systems to provide information on status of migrated assets
  5. Manage the migration of digital applications and data assets to a cloud hosting environment in line with customer requirements
  6. Test cloud services systems against acceptance testing criteria following migration

You need to know and understand:

  1. The potential business value offered by migrating digital services, applications and data to cloud services and hosting
  2. The procedures and standards to follow when migrating digital assets
  3. The tools that can be used to migrate applications and data to the cloud
  4. The factors involved in performing acceptance testing for cloud services following migration of applications and data
  5. The test methods that are applied to assure cloud service migration meets customer requirements
  6. The organisation's standards for cloud migration and  documentation activities
