- Obtain all required materials and equipment for aerial and satellite receivers in line with organisational procedures
- Check that equipment to be used for assembly and connection is in working condition and calibrated
- Undertake mechanical assembly and erection of telecom mast and tower structures to meet assembly requirements
- Erect aerial, antenna and satellite systems to the tower / mast according to alignment requirements and installation requirements
- Connect cabling and wiring harnesses to the aerial, antenna or satellite receiver assembly to meet requirements
- Carry out all work operations following organisational safety procedures and manufacturer's instructions
- Secure all required weather proof covers and connectors
- Carry out relevant tests on aerials, antennae and satellite receivers to check connectivity and signal strength
- Analyse test results to identify, and where possible rectify, any failures in connectivity
- Report any unrectified failures in connectivity following organisational procedures
- Record all work undertaken and test results to organisational standards
