Manage system requirements engineering
Overview
This standard is about managing system requirements engineering (RE).
IT business analysts apply structured approaches to identify business problems, and investigate, analyse and communicate requirements to improve processes, systems and services.
Managing RE involves managing requirements throughout the life cycle and ensuring full traceability. This includes working with stakeholders, planning and scoping requirements, managing requirements workflow, monitoring requirements development and outcomes and managing changes to requirements. It also includes contributing to the development of organisational policies and procedures for RE.
This standard is for those who need to manage RE as part of their duties.
