You must be able to:
- obtain the information required for supporting paperwork from relevant sources
- maintain records of all key radio and audio production information required
- confirm that the information you have collected is accurate and up-to-date
- check that any calculations in the information are correct
- produce clear and accurate paperwork which contains information in the required format
- circulate the paperwork to all those who require it without delay, informing them about any changes from earlier versions
- communicate the requirements of the radio or audio production plan, schedule and scripts to production team members in time for them to take appropriate action
- compare progress against plans and schedules on a regular basis
- use industry software to update and maintain records
- coordinate information for call sheets if required
- maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information in line with organisational requirements

- the deadlines and procedures for circulating or submitting paperwork
- who needs the information about the radio and audio production plan and schedule, post-production and delivery and when they need it
- the information required on a call sheet
- how current data protection legislation regulates the collection, use and recording of personal data
- types of confidential information including contracts and contact details for actors, musicians, presenters or contributors
- your responsibilities in terms of production record keeping
- the software packages and resources to use to update and maintain records
