The cyanoacrylate nail enhancement service includes preparing the nails, shaping the nails, cuticle work and extending the natural nail through applying nail tips with a cyanoacrylate nail enhancement overlay. You will also be required to do a post procedure evaluation and reflection for continuous improvement. Users of this standard will need to ensure that their practices reflect up-to-date information, policies, procedures and best practice guidance. It is advisable users of this standard are aware of, and comply with first aid requirements in accordance with legislation and organisational policies and procedures.

15. customise, fit and apply the fabric/dip polymer powder to the nail to ensure correct product placement and shape, leaving a free margin around surrounding skin in accordance with the cyanoacrylate service protocol, to include:

Apply tips and cyanoacrylate nail enhancement overlays
17. select and customise nail tips to suit the individual's natural nail in accordance with the cyanoacrylate service protocol
18. adhere the nail tip to the natural nail using nail adhesive in accordance with the cyanoacrylate service protocol, to include:
18.1 cut and shape the free edge of the tips
18.2 blend the tips if required so they are undetectable ensuring there is no damage to the natural nail
19. apply resin leaving a free margin around the surrounding skin and allow to cure in accordance with the cyanoacrylate service protocol
20. customise, fit and apply the fabric/dip polymer powder to the nail to ensure correct product placement and shape, leaving a free margin around surrounding skin, in accordance with the cyanoacrylate service protocol
21. apply resin leaving a free margin around the surrounding skin and allow to dry, in accordance with the cyanoacrylate service protocol
