You must be able to:
- monitor the location, facilities and condition of the goods being stored

- confirm goods are stored according to organisational, legal and stakeholder requirements
- assess all the relevant factors and risks of storing goods, **including health and safety, security and bio-security

- provide colleagues with the findings from the monitoring process and make recommendations
- communicate and provide information to colleagues in the supply chain throughout the monitoring process
- comply with the relevant legal, regulatory, environmental, health and safety and organisational procedures for the storage of supplies at storage locations and facilities
- promote responsibility for the environment and sustainability within the organisation and communicate and implement this when selecting storage locations, facilities and resources
