You must be able to:

  2. obtain information on the distribution methods that are available for the goods
  3. evaluate information on the suitability of distribution methods
  4. select the distribution methods that are capable of meeting the specifications of the goods, the key stakeholders and any other requirements
  5. assess the benefits and risks of using the selected distribution methods
  6. identify any security and bio-security measures for the required goods being distributed
  7. identify and handle any issues with distribution methods
  8. provide the results of the selection to colleagues and key stakeholders
  9. comply with all the relevant legal, regulatory, environmental, health and safety and organisational procedures required for the selected distribution methods
  10. promote responsibility for the environment and sustainability within the organisation and communicate and implement this when selecting distribution methods for goods

You need to know and understand:

  1. ​your organisation's strategic aims, objectives and activities in relation to the supply chain
