This standard is about promoting the role and contribution of continuous improvement to colleagues and the influence this has on the achievement of the organisation's strategy and objectives.
You will be responsible for engaging with colleagues and supporting them through the implementation of continuous improvements.

This standard is suitable for managers and team leaders who have responsibility for embedding continuous improvement into their work areas
Performance criteria
You must be able to:
- Identify key activities that the continuous improvement role can perform to support and enhance the organisation's continuous improvement strategy and objectives
- Identify actions that the continuous improvement role can take to promote and enhance innovation in the organisation
- Consult with internal stakeholders on the contribution that continuous improvement can make to the organisation's business objectives to achieve value for money
- Identify and take steps to mitigate any conflicts of interest that can occur with internal stakeholders to ensure that the role and objectives of continuous improvement are recognised and prioritised
- Develop and promote a plan that supports the contribution of continuous improvement to the organisation's business objectives
- Advise and support colleagues on the interpretation of procedures for continuous improvement
- Provide advice to internal stakeholders on the issues of continuous improvement that can impact on the creation and management of financial budgets
