Performance criteria
You must be able to:
- follow your workplace procedures and relevant legislation for dealing with accidents and emergencies
- work within the limits of your own authority as set by your workplace
- follow your workplace procedures to communicate and respond calmly while dealing with accidents and emergencies
- follow your workplace procedures and relevant legislation to report accidents and emergencies promptly, accurately and to the correct person
- recognise when evacuation procedures have been started and follow your workplace procedures for evacuation
