Manage and improve the production processes in mineral processing operations
Overview
What is this standard about?
This standard identifies the competencies you need to manage the production of a quality product in mineral processing operations. It covers aspects such as managing the production process and finding ways of improving the operation through continuous improvements.
Who is this standard for?
You will establish the product and process quality criteria, identifying and applying suitable quality assurance methods and procedures. You will monitor and assess quality and make recommendations for improvement to optimise the quality of the production process.
Your responsibilities will require you to comply with company policy and procedures for the activities undertaken, and to report any problems that you cannot solve, or that are outside your responsibility, to the relevant authority.
You will be expected to take full responsibility for your own actions within the activity, and for the quality and accuracy of the work that you carry out.
Applying and advising on safe working practices will be a key issue throughout.
