This standard outlines the competencies required by individuals who are responsible for developing and implementing a game bird production programme.
This standard is for those who work in game farming and who are responsible for developing a game bird production programme and establishing procedures to implement and monitor the programme.

Performance criteria
You must be able to:
- analyse the relevant information and data to determine the requirements for game bird production
- seek specialist advice when required
- establish priorities and targets for game bird production, according to production requirements
- develop a game bird production programme with measurable aims and objectives
- determine the resource requirements necessary to support the successful implementation of the game bird production programme
