Overview
This standard is about contributing to housing reviews, strategies and plans. This could include reviewing the use of existing housing stock, planning new housing requirements, developing new and existing strategies and reviewing homelessness in the area.
Performance criteria
You must be able to:
- agree with colleagues the purpose and scope of housing reviews, strategies and plans
- identify relevant qualitative and quantitative data requirements for housing reviews, strategies and plans
- undertake research to contribute to the development of housing reviews, strategies and plans
- provide up-to-date information and relevant explanations to relevant colleagues to support the production of housing reviews, strategies and plans
- map and monitor the current activities undertaken by the organisation in relation to the relevant housing review, strategy or plan
- assess current and future requirements, demand and supply for housing stock and/or service provision
- contribute to planning for the current and future housing requirements of the local population in accordance with relevant organisational targets and legislation
- identify ways in which to make relevant use of existing housing stock and/or service provision
- work with stakeholders, customers and the local community on housing reviews, strategies and plans
- produce data and reports in line with your organisational requirements
- confirm that housing reviews, strategies and plans are sustainable, accessible and in accordance with relevant organisational requirements and legislation
- identify ways in which to improve data collection

- the relevant organisational and legislative requirements regarding housing reviews, strategies and plans
- the available qualitative and quantitative data requirements for contributing to housing reviews, strategies and plans
- how and where to access literature, information and data support to inform your work
