Overview
This standard covers the skills and knowledge required to set up equipment in glass processing. The equipment is used to undertake work activities and you are expected to be able to set it up to meet a range of requirements. This will involve obtaining the specifications for the glass products or materials that are being worked on and determining the correct settings for the equipment. It also covers monitoring the equipment during operation and identifying any indications of malfunction or poor performance.

You must be able to:

- identify any problems and deal with them following standard operating procedures
