Overview
This standard is about installing both open state and closed state cavity barriers within rainscreen facade systems. This includes checking information relating to installation, adopting safe, healthy and environmentally responsible working practices, using materials, components, tools & equipment, and preparing and installing suitable products. The activity could be carried out during building construction or during maintenance activities.
This standard is for people working in the occupational area of firestopping occupations and can be used by operatives, supervisors and managers
