Overview
"This standard is about identifying considerations for environmental management and methods that will support sustainability, delegating responsibilities and encouraging a culture of environmental awareness and support for sustainability. Monitoring environmental factors and sustainability requirements as the project progresses in accordance with current organisational requirements which are equal to or exceed current statutory and legislative requirements.
This standard is for people working in the occupational area of construction site management which is defined as the management of multiple construction trades and disciplines and can be used by supervisors and managers"
Performance criteria
You must be able to:

P2 examine project data, and establish and record methods of work
that will support sustainability
P3 promote a culture of environmental awareness and support for
sustainability in the workforce
P4 examine and record the policies adopted for environmental
management and sustainability
P5 delegate and record the assigned duties for environmental
management and monitoring of sustainable work methods
P6 monitor project work against at least four of the following
environmental factors and take appropriate action to ensure
organisational requirements are met

6.2 ecological
6.3 natural conservation
6.4 historical conservation
6.5 statutory nuisances
6.6 emissions to air, land and water
6.7 movement of project people, resources and vehicles

ensure organisational requirements are met in respect of:

7.5 procurement of sustainable materials and resources
7.6 use and storage of materials and resources

sustainable methods of work and make recommendations to at
