Overview

"​​This standard is about contributing to the identification of a work team by identifying and evaluating capabilities of team members and ensuring team members are equipped to meet programme requirements in accordance with current organisational requirements which are equal to or exceed current statutory and legislative requirements
This standard is for people working in the occupational area of construction site supervision which is defined as the supervision of multiple construction trades and disciplines and can be used by operatives, supervisors and managers"


Performance criteria

You must be able to:

"P1    identify and record any significant factors which will affect
        the number, type and availability of people and services
        including but not limited to:
        1.1    location
        1.2    cost
        1.3    time
        1.4    skills, experience and knowledge
        1.5    availability
        1.6    compatibility
        1.7    training and development requirements
P2    evaluate and record the quality and reliability of the following
        people or services, and notify relevant stakeholders:
        2.1    technical staff
        2.2    sub-contractors
        2.3    specialist services
        2.4    operatives
P3    negotiate and agree proposals which are likely to produce an
        effective team membership
P4    ensure the following organisational procedures for obtaining
        people and services are followed:
        4.1    contractual
        4.2    right to work
        4.3    codes of practice
        4.4    industry certification cards, competence schemes,
                 qualifications, certificates and training
        4.5    insurance"
