Overview
"This standard is about implementing communication systems for the project and maintaining the communication systems to provide information ensuring workplace personnel know their job responsibilities in accordance with current organisational requirements which are equal to or exceed current statutory and legislative requirements
This standard is for people working in the occupational area of construction site supervision which is defined as the supervision of multiple construction trades and disciplines and can be used by operatives, supervisors and managers"
Performance criteria
You must be able to:
"P1 implement and record the organisational and communication
systems for the project for four of the following:
1.1 site management
1.2 site or head office team
1.3 contract administration
1.4 health, safety, welfare, wellbeing and environment
1.5 project team
1.6 sharing of project data
1.7 contractors and sub-contractors
1.8 the client, customer or their representative
P2 maintain communication systems by confirming the methods of
communication, reporting, recording and retrieving information
with at least three of the following stakeholders:
2.1 the client, customer or their representatives
2.2 consultants
2.3 contractors
2.4 sub-contractors
2.5 third parties
2.6 public utilities
2.7 emergency services
2.8 visitors
2.9 statutory authorities
P3 identify, investigate and record evidence of procedural change in
at least two of the following methods of communication and
implement and record the action taken:
3.1 oral
3.2 written
3.3 graphic
3.4 electronic
P4 implement organisational systems to record and provide
feedback"
