Performance criteria

You must be able to:

P1 obtain and establish accurate information, controlling documentation and risk assessments on the radiation-related work activities being undertaken
P2 ensure that all radiation hazards are identified and that radiation protection systems are applied correctly
P3 ensure the radiation-related work activities that can and cannot be undertaken are identified, including the methods to be used and their duration
P4 ensure colleagues are clear on their role and responsibilities for delivering the radiation- related work activities
P5 identify suitable methods for monitoring the radiation-related work activities being undertaken within your level of respoansabilites
P6 monitor the radiation-related work activities at suitable opportunities
P7 check the radiation-related work activities are undertaken according to the specified methods, quality measures, and outcomes
P8 identify any potential improvements in the way that the radiation-related work activities could be carried out
P9 comply with all relevant regulations and standards, and record all relevant actions and outcomes in the appropriate information systems
