Overview
This standard covers the skills for marking out and measuring materials for the manufacture of jewellery or silverware components. You will select the appropriate marking out equipment and check that it is in usable condition, and mark out patterns and designs on different materials using appropriate methods. As part of this standard it is important that you avoid excessive waste.
Performance criteria
You must be able to:
