Overview

​This standard is about managing the expectations and understanding of and with people involved once the arts programme is designed or in design,  There are many expectations to manage as everyone may have a different perspective about what the work is and what it is for.


Performance criteria

You must be able to:

​P1 Manage the development and delivery of an arts programme to meet the needs of different stakeholders, including budget, contractual and legal and copyright issues 

P2 Communicate in an inclusive and effective manner to set up and manage expectations of individuals, groups and stakeholders


Knowledge and Understanding

You need to know and understand:

​K1 the importance of bringing your artistic, facilitative and social inclusion skills to the individuals, groups and stakeholders 

K2 how to inspire individuals, groups and stakeholders about your arts programme design, values, process and potential outcomes 

K3 the importance of negotiating realistic outcomes for your arts programme 

K4 the importance of awareness of your skills so you can provide an accurate sense of your capacity to delive
