Does this website collect my personal data?

Firstly, for information on what cookies this website collects, please see the separate Cookies Policy.

This website only collects and uses personal data in very limited circumstances, and will always be when you've chosen to provide it.

Why is my personal data collected?

If you represent an organisation that is carrying out development work through this website, you may have supplied us with your name and email address. This data will allow a log-in to be generated for you, and will allow you access to the NOS database secure Admin section. This will also be used to track who is inputting the information and will also notify the user of updates required as part of the development process of NOS.

Furthermore, if you have contributed to a consultation through the website, the personal data you have entered in this process will be viewable by other registered users in a secure part of the website. This is required as evidence that consultation has taken place

Where is it stored?

Your personal data is stored in a secure server and will only be accessible by approvers and database administrators. This is stored on a UK-based server and will only be viewed by selected representatives of SDS, SQA Accreditation, Welsh Gov, Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment and ActiveIS. This is purely for the purposes of supporting the development and approval process for NOS products.

Who is it shared with?

Your data will only be shared with staff from the Welsh Government, Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment, Skills Development Scotland, and the Scottish Qualification Authority as part of the development and approval processes of NOS.

What are my rights to my personal data?

If you wish to withdraw your personal data from this system, or wish to find out more about how we use or store it (free of charge), you can get in touch with the Data Protection Officer of Skills Development Scotland at DPO@sds.co.uk

Skills Development Scotland is the Data Controller for any personal data collected on this website.
